Assyah Al Fehaid

Assyah Al Fehaid is the founder and creative director of Jamila + Juliette, an Ecuador-based destination celebration planning and design studio, and the founder and editor of UNICO Love Club.

With more than fifteen years dedicated to designing events in South America, her work is driven by a belief that meaningful gatherings begin with people, places, and stories rather than trends. Through both Jamila + Juliette and UNICO, she advocates for thoughtful design, intentional hospitality, sustainability and a slower, more human approach to the celebrations industry.

Outside of work, Assyah is happiest in places that invite conversation and reflection. She is passionate about literature, has an endless appreciation for independent coffee shops, and adore a cozy afternoon spent reading with a tea. A lifelong Harry Potter enthusiast, she finds inspiration in stories that create a sense of wonder and belonging.
Nature is where she feels most at home, whether exploring mountains, forests, or quiet landscapes, and she believes some of life's best ideas emerge outdoors. Above all, family, her dogs, and the simple rituals of everyday life remain at the center of everything she values.

Through UNICO Love Club, Assyah hopes to create an editorial home for people who believe that celebrations and culture are inseparable, and the people behind them deserve to be explored with depth, curiosity, and authenticity.
