Daniel López Pérez is the photography studio of Dani & Mishka, a bilingual husband-and-wife team from Spain and the United States, based in Antigua Guatemala. With more than 14 years of experience and over 300 weddings photographed in Guatemala and around the world, their work blends documentary storytelling with an effortless editorial sensibility.
Their approach is centered on candid interactions, genuine emotion and the natural rhythm of a wedding day, complemented by elegant portraits and a strong connection to place. Their background in landscape photography also informs the way they incorporate Guatemala’s architecture, volcanic scenery and distinctive light into their imagery.
Their work has appeared in more than 50 publications, including The New York Times, Vogue and Condé Nast, and in 2019 they were selected among Rangefinder Magazine’s 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography.
